Hello!
I have loaded about 30 000 data points in a lookup variable. Two problems exists: 1) In "Errors" field I got syntax error; 2) After clicking the "Close" button I got "Memory allocation failure - subblock". After clicking OK button - Vensim crashes. I understand that 30 000 points are a large amount, but what is the limit?

Re: memory allocation error
I'll see if I can enable more memory for this.
You could try putting the values into a CIN file. Or even better, as an external data source (save as a CSV and import using Model->Import data).

Re: memory allocation error
How did you make Vensim crash here? I've tried pasting in 30k x/y pairs of variables and Vensim is fine, it only allows a certain amount of characters in the edit window. Did you paste these values into the text view of the model?

Re: memory allocation error
I copied the data in two columns from an excel file and used "Import Vals" in "As Graph". This happened many times.
Thank you for the advice.
