the edit file does not work with the 64 version

When I try to edit a file, say a *.cin with the edit file it does not work and exit from vensim. It works well with the 32 edition.

I use it all the time. Can you email your vensimdp.ini to us (vensim@vensim.com) to test with please? You will find it in %APPDATA%\vensim

Also, what is the full path of the CIN file you are trying to edit in case that is the cause of the problem?

the path to the .cin is c:\nouveau rent\simple_135\simple\cas1_période pleine.cin

I've tried both the INI files, and am not having any problems with the text editor.

Would you be able to send the CIN file to us?

Also, how are you using it? Are you using a button on a custom toolset or File->Edit File?

I have already run a model and saved data on a new .cin file and tried to edit afterwards. it still does not work and exits Vensim.

.cin file can be modified using other Tools. So it is possible to manage although cumbersome. i will too ask my technician if he can find Something.
