"Formatting..." message in View As Text mode

Post by Ashish_Kumar »

I have a large number of tabbed arrays and other definitions that are much easier to copy-paste in the View -> As Text mode rather than in Sketch mode.

Making the changes in the text editor has worked well most of the time, but quite often I get a message "Formatting..." (see attachment). Sometimes, it is even possible to edit the text while this message is displayed, but sometimes it isn't.

1. What triggers the "Formatting..." message?
2. Are there generally good practices while making changes in text mode?

That is a "work in progress" message. It should disappear when the work has been done.

If you can email the model to us and let us know how to trigger the message, we should be able to fix it.

A fallback option is to use an external editor like Notepad++ on the .mdl file, but you shouldn't normally need that.

Thank you for the reply. Pardon my ignorance -- may I know how to email the Administrator?
