Vensim Crashing

Post by TommieS »

Hi,

So I have been having this problem quite a lot, and it happens when I try to make connections in the model which are quite far apart. I draw the arrow and as soon as I make it, it crashes the program. I then get this text beneath which I am not sure if it is useful but I have included it just in case. I have a MacBook Pro running on MacOS Big Sur version 11.2.1. The version of Vensim is: Vensim PLE 9.0.1 x64. The Serial number is PL9999. Let me know if there is something I can do.

Thanks very much in advance.

The copy paste of the error (had to take some of the coding out as it was too long):

You could try upgrading to the latest version of Vensim.

Also, can you share the model that is causing this? I've tried in PLE (9.1.0) and had no problems.

Of course, I'll post the model. I will also try updating to see if this helps.

Thank you very much!

What parameters are you connecting that results in the crash? I've experimented and had no problems.
