simulating with Excel

Hi there

I had a VENSIM model using the get XLS DATA function with 10 years of data for each variable. I'd like to run simulations holding certain variables at their year 0 values while setting others at their values for the full 10 years.

I could make a second vector of data for each variable in Excel with the same year 0 value for all 10 years but I'm guessing there is an easier, perhaps temporary, way of doing this.

You will need to change the model or the data, and changing the model would require adding a bunch of extra structure. so your solution actually seems pretty reasonable. You can probably make the xls file switch modes with less structure than would be required on the Vensim side.
