Hello Paul,

I am involved in project here in The Netherlands for a large
telecommunications company. Although it is not agricultural products
that we deal with, we are working on a comprehensive pricing strategies
model for our client. He is interested in seeing what the effects will
be on market share, revenues, and ROA of different network components
when new palyers enter the Dutch market place. We do not have a working
paper available due to the high degree of confidentiality but I can
point you in the direction of an excellent paper on the web also

I have been trying to interest one of my clients, a >$1 B food company,
in using SD. One of their VPs has just asked me for documentation of
any system dynamics modeling work relating to agricultural pricing and
output, especially dairy products. He believes that such models may
help in establishing the companys pricing strategy. He has ordered
Dennis Meadows book, "Dynamics of Commodity Production Cycles",
published around 1970. Does anyone know of other such work? Or, of any
system dynamicists who have applied system dynamics modeling to this or
similar applications areas?
