I'm trying to age the population, and in the attached test model I would expect the age band 100+ just to grow (but it doesn't, so where are those people "aging-out" to?)
....is there a way to write the equations more elegantly than just writing a separate equation for the 100+ population, or making the "average time in cohort" for 100+ equal to a very big number?

What makes you say it doesn't grow? It goes to over 300 when I run the model.

Ah yes, sorry I attached a version of the model which has 2 equations for average time in cohort, with 5 yrs for previous cohort and a very large number for the 100+ cohort. If you see the attached model I have simplified this to 1 equation in which average time in cohort simply equals 5, and you can see that the 100+ population levels off like all the rest, meaning that the equations are calculating an outflow for the 100+ pop which equals avg. time in cohort.

This is the correct behavior.
For the 100 group, you are still removing "aging[100+]" from the 100+ level.
If you want them to remain in the level, you'll need to modify the calculation for aging so it's zero for the 100+ group.
