Dear Muhammd,
I have developed a system dynamics model for Tourist village
settlements. This was many years ago, but Im still interested to do
some progress in that area.
The general description of the model together with some results was
presented (I believe !) in 1983 International S.D. Conference at Pine
Manor College - Chestnut Hill, Mass (U.S.A.).
The aim of the work, in which I was involved together with a big Italian
tourism organisation, was to evaluate the tourist village settlement
impact both from ecological point of view (man - environment impact) and
socio-economical point of view through the development of a S.D. Model.

I have developed a simple model of the growth of the Malaysian resort
Sarawak, which I use as a classroom exercise. Sarawak set out to develop
Ecotourism as a policy goal, but things are apparentlygoing in a different
