Dear All
I use vensim to model energy security, which majorly consists of variables history matching (hubbert production) that uses data from 1965, and others variables like oil import and would like to apply the it (and the rests of variables ) with initial time 2015.
Any idea on how to deal with this problem? Can I conduct a simulation in the same file or should I separate it?

Same file for sure. What you want is a dynamic structure that replicates the data over the historical period, then runs into the future for projections.
