problems with encrypted .vmf files

Post by mashayekhi »

Hello;

My latest problem is that encrypted model files, i.e. myfile.vmf file cannot be open by the Sable Run Time. I followed the steps for encryption given by the Vensim redistribution kit and also put the vendlx32.dll file in the "model" directory.
Is there any more files I should use?

Thanks in advance,
Ali

Hello Ali,

Can you check the company name within the Sable project?

It should read "Ali Mashayekhi", internally Sable unlocks your vendlx32.dll, but needs the correct company name to do this. Your licence is registered to company name "Ali Mashayekhi".

Let me know if this solves the problem.

Tony.
