Sub-Subscripts?

Post by thifei »

Hello,

I want to know if it is possible to implement subscripts to subscripts.

For instance I have a subscript "country" with a list full of countries, and I'd like to add an "OECD" subscript corresponding to a part of the "country" subscript.

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance!

You can define sub-ranges. For example

EUROPEAN COUNTRIES : ENGLAND, SCOTLAND, WALES, NORTHERN IRELAND, FRANCE
NON EURO COUNTRIES : USA, CANADA

COUNTRIES : EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, NON EURO COUNTRIES

Is this what you need to do?

Notice here that the COUNTRIES range is built up hierarchically by first defining euro and non-euro subranges. That's not necessary however - you can mix & match ranges and elements.

City : Boston, Las Vegas, Denver, San Diego, Seattle, New York
East Coast : Boston, New York
West Coast : San Diego, Seattle
Coastal : East Coast, West Coast
