VENAPP

Post by LBD »

I'm trying to create windows in Venapp and I came across this command for a button. Can someone tell me what the "Ss" and "" stand for in the command shown below? or which part of the control definition window do they belong?

BUTTON,"Scenario based on model constants",50,32,50,6,C,Ss,

those are accelerators - best to read the DSS reference Supplement in the help files it describes all of this in detail.

Link windows in Venapp

Post by LBD »

Thank you Bob. I also had a question about linking the different pages. I have read more of the DSS reference supplement, accordingly I have created windows for the main menu, model structure, scenario set-up. these Venapp pages run well on their own, but I don't know how to link these pages together. I don't know how to link my pages in such a way that if a person clicked on "exit to main menu" then it will show the main menu page.

you can make it easily by do the following:
rename the first view i.e introduction
rename the second view any name i.e overview

in the first view if you put a button i.e "model structute" and right click on it and you can find "shift to screen" then select the screen view you want.
