Someone asked the SD Discussion List for an example of system dynamics =
applied to beavers. Brian Sturtevant, of the Univ. of Maryland Center =
for Environmental Studies, has published a Stella model of beaver =
impoundments. His focus is the succession of a beaver pond, with =
emphasis on vegetative cover type and longevity. See "A Model of =
