optimlator search engine

Post by "J Mukherjee" »

Greetings:

I have updated the mailing list search engine at
http://www.optimlator.com/
(until today - June 3, 2001).

For those new to the list, it is a search engine that allows you to do
keyword searches of all past postings on the System Dynamics mailing list.
It is best to check this out before you put queries on the list, as your
questions may already have been answered in much detail by experts in the
field. I find it even instructive to go back and reread some past
discussions to learn about a particular topic.

The search feature works best with Internet Explorer for now (with Netscape,
for some postings, you will see the titles of the emails but may not be able
to open them).

There are areas on the web site ("Coffee Corner") where newsgroup-style
discussions may be done, on SD and non-SD topics (especially useful where SD
interfaces with other fields).

I have also added links in database/programming areas that I find personally
useful.

Please let me know if you find any bugs/problems, or if you have any
suggestions for improvement. Thank you very much.
