Dear friends,
I would be very interested to find out if there have been any studies
on the process pursuant to the ordination of women to the priesthood
in the various Christian churches, ie, key loops which attempt to
perpetuate a male-only clergy, key loops which attempt to overcome
sexist prejudice as to what ministries are appropriate for women,
and the couplings between these loops. I really would appreciate
any suggestions, references, etc.
Thanks,
Luis

Ordination of women
Dear Luis, I havent actually worked on that particular process but I
have been working on modeling churches. Biggest problems so far have
been one, getting the right problem statement you want to make--starting
with a soloution in mind is often counter productive [let me add that
Im an Episcopal priest and have hired three women priests over time]
second, to identify boundaries of model--Im working on reltiaon of
market driven capitalism to local endogenous church relationships--very
sticky, probably too complex. If I may be of any help, write, Peace,
