Strategy Dynamics teachers workshop following Bergen confere
Posted: Mon Apr 10, 2000 2:42 pm
Dear Bergen conference delegate,
We will be offering a 1-day workshop on teaching Strategy Dynamics for
anyone who might like to stay on one day after the Bergen conference - i.e.
from the conference end on Thursday 10th to mid-afternoon on Friday 11th
August.
The workshop will explain how Dynamics of Strategy events at London Business
School are designed as a rigorous, fact-based approach to strategy
development, built on sound system dynamics principles, and how the approach
can be used in a wide variety of teaching and professional development
activities. It will cover ...
* Communicating ideas on strategy (and other business functions)
from a system dynamics perspective
* The strategic architecture of business challenges
* Coaching executives in the fundamental importance of time-charts
of business performance, fact-based resource analysis, SD stock
accumulation, and feedback
* Use of microworlds to enhance dynamic understanding amongst
management
* Combining frameworks, microworlds, and live cases in 1-day
workshops and as part of broader MBA-type courses on Strategy, Marketing,
and other subjects
* Design and delivery of a full course on Strategy Dynamics
We would ask for a small contribution of $50 towards costs of materials and
shipping. For further details, contact the Dynamics Resources Manager at
LBS, Michelle Hale ( mhale@london.edu <mailto:mhale@london.edu> )
Kind regards,
Rod Brown
