Systems Dynamics Project

I have tried to model the growth of bureaucracy in professional
organizations and how it can lead to organizational demise with particular
reference to the developing countries. Most readers of the account of this
model feel that the developing country distinction is artificial. This
distinction, however, was necessary since my empirical reference was after
all limited to the developing countries. Following paper describes the
model and the experimentation with it:
Saeed, K. 1996. The Dynamics of Collegial Systems in the Developing
Countries. Higher Education Policy. Forthcoming.
Reprints will be available soon.
