Hi SD World

I am looking for a paper or report on what
has been done with Urban Dynamics since its
publication. I heard that such exists.
Anyone know how I can access it?

Thanks,

"Gerald O. Barney" <gbarney@igc.org>

Dear Gerald:
In 1996 we at ISIS [Istituto di Studi per l Informatica e i Sistemi -
mc8263@mclink.it] have carried out a modelling study for DGXII of the European
Commission in Brussels. The study [called ACT-VILL] analysed [mostly
for Rome, but also for Paris and Hamburg]: population, buildings, jobs,
companies, communication, transportation, energy, environment, health,
culture. 4 models were used: SD [using IThink], logistic substitution model
based on Volterra Lotka equations, an input/output model [econometric
but limited to Romes province] a la Leontieff; a cellular purely
geographic pragmatic model for displacement trends.

I am enclsoing a 10 page abstract. If you are interested we can supply
additl info. I was project leader & tackled directly the logistic model.
Best
