Hi,

Is someone aware of a very good qualitative/phenomenological PhD thesis on Systems Thinking/System Dynamics? Most theses I see are based on quantitative data...

Thanks,
Ines.

You might wish to look through the theses done at MIT before the 1980s. I
believe scanned versions are available on line.

This book is not easy to find (i.e. not on amazon.com). Try http://www.WolfLegalPublishers.com or email wlp@hetnet.nl.

To obtain a copy of dissertations at MIT on system dynamics from Day 1 through 2003, try the Literature Collection. ( http://www.systemdynamics.org/MITCollectionDVDinfo.htm) It is several shelves of a research library compiled on DVD by Jay Forrester, Nan Lux and friends.
