Unstable Sable

I recently loaded Sable Developer onto my computer shortly after running the Lite evaluation version. I have yet to be able to use the Developer version because a runtime error occurs every time I try and get beyond the opening screen. Please Help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice already and am still having the same problem.

There might be a conflict between Lite and Dev (there shouldn't be).

I have downloaded Sable Developer demo and tried to open a Sable project file from a team member. I get the error "You cannot open files created with Sable Developer in this version of Sable". Not quite sure what this means. Is the VNP file (created in Feb 2007) too old to be opened in the current version of Sable?
