When I try to compile my model, I get an error message saying:
"Failed to compile. (version mismatch got 509 need 508)"
What is version is Vensim referring to? Any thoughts on how I might fix this? Using Vensim 5.5d and Visual C++ 2005 Express.
Thanks!

It sounds like you have support files for compiling that are newer than the version of Vensim you are running. The best thing to do would be install 5.6d and use that. Otherwise reinstall 5.5d with the matching support files and it should work.

I installed version 5.6d and things seems to work now. Compilation makes a HUGE difference in simulation time. Thanks for the help!
