Text overwriting

I have been looking at using Vensim for a project and I have created a simple model using PLE.

However when I send the model to a colleague to test Venread he finds that the variable names are overwritten as if the variable box needs to be expanded.

It does not happen on my machine but I can replicate the effect by lengthening a variable name. If the box is not extended then the name of the variable overwrites itself.

Is some setting missing?

you can definitely squish a name into a messy blur on purpose but making the size of the surrounding box small. As to why this is happening when someone else opens the model it likely is related to the logical resolution of the display the peson is using. Vensim used to automatically rescale in cases like this but the results were, on average, even less desirable then what happens now. If they open the models in Vensim PLE they will likely have better luck.
