Has anyone worked with Bohm's dialogue?
Bohm's work is, I think, complementary to SD. Senge was influenced by Bohm. I've been watching some videos of Bohm dialogues, and the approach seems very helpful.
I still think that many in the SD field are operating with many underlieing assumptions and contradictions, not that I am any less perplexed. Who has tried formulating a "value proposition" for SD....instant paradox. "Solve problems?"...no, from what perspective do you define the problem (the tree frog's or the builder's).
A few weeks ago, I arrived at the phrase "for learning from diverse perspectives". That seems to work for my focus, as it acknowledges:
1. the participation of everyone, as a focus on "learning from" shows that ideas come from people. (as opposed to some other approach like "information gathering")
2. Diverse perspectives
3. The idea that diverse perspectives can learn from one another
