Hi! I would like to using Vensim PLE, but I can't install successfully after downloading the Installation package. The error statement is the following:

“Resource file comes from a different version of Vensim(002)”

"Reinstall Vensim(error 977)"

My Installation info:
System: Window 10 x64
System Language: Chinese
Installation path: default
Usage: Academic use, very first time installation

Try downloading again, and make sure you right click on the newly downloaded installer and select "Run as administrator".

What version of Vensim are you downloading (32 or 64 bit)?

This error usually happens when Vensim has not been installed using administrative permissions.

Hi! I have tried using administrative permissions, but same error happens. I am using 64 version. It is possible to have a previous, for example, 8.2.1 version installation package to try? Thanks!

I've just tested the installer, it's working without any problems.

Try deleting everything in the following folder and installing again.
C:\Users\Public\Vensim\PLE

Unfortunately this doesn't work either, will the previous installation package will help?

If you download the Windows 7 version, this is a older installer.

Hi, New problem with this one: Error during installation: Do not change the installation file name.

Could it be any conflict between softwares?

Try disabling your anti virus, that is likely causing this new problem.
