I can't run simulations on Vensim

Hello! I've been trying to run some simulations of models I've been working on in class but when I click the run button nothing happens; some friends told me to save the document and then run the sim but that didn't work for me. Can someone help?

Are you sure it's not running? Sometimes it's so fast you can't see it. What happens if you plot one of the variables?

Yes I'm sure! I add graphs to see the results and there's not even a name on the horizontal or "x" text value, much less info on the graph.

Is the model saved in your documents folder, or some other area that isn't locked down by the operating system?
