Impact Dynamics: call for the expression of interest

Dear friends,

As it has been announced in the last issue of the International Association
for Impact Assessment (IAIA) Newsletter, 14(4):2, a new IAIA section is
being proposed, identified as "Impact Dynamics". The purpose of the new
section (IAIA-ID) is to investigate and document the explicit mechanisms of
how environmental impacts occur as a result of human activities.

As a proponent of the IAIA-ID section, at this point I would like to know
who is interested in this idea. Anyone interested, please send me an email
with the subject "IAIA-ID" and your reply/ comments in the message body.

NOTES
=====
1. The IAIA Section Guidelines are currently under development.
2. Since the sections main idea is to network, this message is extended
to the Environmental Dynamics network (incl. the SDS ED SIG, the EDI, and
SDsustain), that has similar interests. Some ED members may already be IAIA
members; if not, they might consider joining.
