Copy past problem

I'm not able to copy and past model components from one mdl.file to another mdl.file (using PLE-PLUS).

I selected the components to be copied (excluding the shadow variables), copied them and finally unsuccesfully tried to past them on an empy view page.

Could you please advise me on this problem.

What is the exact version of Vensim you are using?

Another consideration: are you copying within one application instance, or launching two?

7.3 is actually ~2018 - there's probably not much we can do about that if there was a bug.

Per my previous question, copying between application instances could be problematic. You may need to open the model, copy, close, open the destination, and paste, within a single instance of Vensim.

Can I upgrade to the most recent Vensim version with my current PLE-Plus license and still run my models? I assume that this would solve the copying problem

I tested to verify that copy/paste is working fine in forthcoming 9.2 (it is). However, the single-application-instance limitation does still exist.
