Running .mdl file

I am using a model that was developed using the Vensim DSS environment. I would like to know if there is another option to run and make a similar simulation by using the .mdl file, but in a different software environment? Thanks for suggestion.

I use the EUROGREEN model in my research, which was developed in VENSIM DSS (I have tried, and it's work very good). Therefore, I would like to know if there is an alternative software option to run and simulate this model, other than using VENSIM.

Vensim is obviously the best choice. It should run in Vensim Pro or DSS (it has subscripts).

An alternative is to contact the author for a version that runs in the Vensim model reader (which is free).
