Hi

Ther are some limitations to publish a model on the web. It is sais in the documentation that:
At present, only the active model view is published.

What is the active model view?

Does it mean that if you have ma model with multiple views, it cannot be totally published?

Does it means that only models with one view, can be totally published on a web server?

Regards.

This is the sketch you are looking at when you click File->Publish to web.

It's outside the scope of Vensim to produce a slick web interface. Vensim will give you a basic working model that will run in a browser. The next step is to use either a dedicated web developer to build something from this, or do it yourself.

No, the model as a whole will work in a browser, it's just the active view that will be displayed. The best thing to do is use this as a starting point and then build something better using a dedicated web design tool.

Hi

Thank you for the answer.

Is there a plan in the future to make all the views displayed on the web server?

Best regards.

JJ

We do plan to add more functionality including multiple views, this is not going to be in the near future though.
