double-click selection

On Windows, could you please change the double-click selection behavior to select only text-related characters and not the adjacent mathematical symbols like +, *, /, [], ()?

Can you provide more detail please? Where are you clicking things? Can you give an example?

Here are the screenshots of Vensim and Windows Notepad when double-clicking the same string. Did you have something else in mind?

No, there are hundreds of places in Vensim where you can select text, that's why I asked for more info.

I see. Sorry about the confusion. I quickly checked, and it seems this happens everywhere. However, all the modern interfaces only include ‘.’ and ‘_’ in the double-click selection. Even Vensim on macOS follows the same rule.

Some of this will change with the new equation editor soon.
