model on textile pipeline in the Western Cape? Help

I am trying to develop a mathematical model on the pipeline including
the fabric producer, the garment manufacturer, the retailer and the
consumer, the plan is to build the model using the system dnamics
methodology. I am at this moment looking for models of this type that
have been developed in the recent past so as to get guide lines and
not to reinvent the wheel. This particular pipeline is involved in
the QR strategy as a pilot project and if successful there is a
possibility of extending this to benfit the SA industry. The main
objective of the model would be to describe the pipeline as it
stands now, to investigate the effectiveness of QR and to identify
the variables that are not affected by the implementation of QR.
Examples of models and any other advice is most welcomed.
