REMINDER: MODELING ASSISTANCE WORKSHOP: to be held on Thursday, July
26th, from 10:30 till noon at the International System Dynamics
Conference in Atlanta (per June 18 schedule from the System Dynamics
Society website).

So far we have seven modeling assistance questions from six modelers.
More information, and six of the seven modeling questions are available
for viewing at:

http://www.stewardshipmodeling.com. (Click on the "Modeling Assistance
Workshop" link toward the top left.)

The modelers consist of a fishery biologist in Indonesia, a researcher
at a medical university in Oregon, a PhD candidate in Florida, a high
school teacher in Ontario, a US business executive, and a professor from
Auckland, New Zealand.

We will continue to consider modeling assistance applications, as well
as volunteer coaches. Right now it would be most helpful to have at
least two or three more volunteer coaches, as we are trying to line up
coaches one-on-one with modelers.

We are also particularly interested in seeing more modeling questions
from K-12 students or their teachers. The format is planned to be very
similar to that of the coaching sessions at DynamiQuest, a program put
on every spring by the Creative Learning Exchange
(http://www.clexchange.org)

Please email paulnewton@attglobal.net if you are interested in
submitting a question, or volunteering as a coach.

Thank you,

Paul Newton
