Optimisation and optimisation control functions

I would find Ventity very useful if I can apply it to a Vensim simulation suite that makes extensive use of the Vensim Optimisation Feature to optimise sets of optimisation parameters for subscripted variables.

The last query in this forum about optimisation that I could trace placed development/availability of optimisation routines sometime in the future.
Is it possible/realistic to provide some detail of the time schedule and perhaps (please!) an outline of the envisaged functionality.

Engineering estimates would be appreciated if detail is not available (yet)

I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for, but Ventity already has basic optimization capabilities, with the Powell optimizer, which can be used on multiple entities. It lacks some of Vensim's depth, like MCMC but much is possible already.

I will probably request some guidelines for application specifics in Ventity - but only after attempting to discover how to initiate and apply the optimizer without guidance
