Converting ithink models to Vensim

Hi,

I am trying to convert an ithink model to Vensim. The stel2vin.exe conversion utility suggested in the help pages expects a .stl extension, whereas the ithink model has an extension .itm. The result is that the utility ignores the command and simply displays the help for the command line arguments.

Any suggestions on how I can convert the ithink file into Vensim will be gratefully accepted.

The ithink model needs to be saved as equations - should really be a .txt file. The stel2ven utility works on the equations only - not the diagram.

If it is a small to moderate model you will likely get better results in the same amount of time doing the conversion by hand.
