Vensim model for Diabetes

Post by yobiman »

My seven year old son has Type 1 diabetes and we are having a lot of challenges in regulating his blood/sugar levels. Given that we have heaps of measurement data, I was thinking that it might make sense to build an SD model to see if we can get a better understanding of what is going on. Wondering if anyone in the forum has done something similar.
Many thanks

Here's one:

I probably have a copy of the paper somewhere if you can't find it.

Also, search the SD bibliography. There's been some excellent recent work on the topic, as I recall, though more about links between Type II and diet and that sort of thing.
