Vensim only simulating 8785 time steps?

Post by xyg »

Hi Ventana guys,

I still felt that it would be better if I can have more than 8785 time steps in a model. What i was trying to do is to model hourly performance of a building in a year. It would be great if you can help.

There are some display limitations, the table tool shows only 8000 columns, for example, but you can run your model for more time steps. Setting SAVEPER > TIME STEP is a possible strategy for seeing longer time intervals if needed. Or, you can export results.
