This is just a quick note to THANK the twelve individuals who have
responded so far through the SD listserver (and personally) to our posting,
requesting "Sustainable Development Modelling Suggestions." Folks from as
far away as Peru, Australia, Spain, Britain and the USA have contributed.
(Nothing yet from Asia, Africa...)
The ideas, advice, and links received--as well as the concern shared for
our planet and the crucial role systems thinking and modelling can and do
play to help improve things--are extremely helpful to our efforts in
CARE-Honduras (with implications for CARE globally), and are much
appreciated.
We will reply to each of you individually off the listserver--as soon as
possible. In addition, we will occasionally update everyone on the
listserver on our progress in utilizing systems thinking and modelling to
help facilitate sustainable development.
Please Note: We are now aware that there are similar experiences and
efforts to ours in different parts of the world. Thus, if at any time
fellow readers and contributors to this forum come across any information
that might relate systems thinking and modelling to sustainable development
issues, please let us know. We will of course reciprocate (just send us
your e-mail address and major areas of interest).
Gracias, Merci, Donabad, Kap Khun Krap, She-She, Thanks!
Best regards,
