Hi,
I am trying to export data from vensim using VENSIM_GET_VAL in a macro during a game. However the data exported to excel miss some zeros when it is the last number of the value, also I miss all dots in excel.
I switched , to . in excel options as decimal separator but nothing changed.
However, when I copy manually the table from vensim and paste it into excel there is not any missing zero (0) or dot(.)
Many thanks for your help with this
Omar

Can you upload something to demonstrate the problem?

Re: Problem exporting data with VENSIM_GET_VAL
This sounds like a problem in the macro code rather than vensim_get_val - the function returns floating point numbers, so it's not clear what it would even mean to be missing dots.
