Along the lines of the recent discussion on SD vs spreadsheet
computations, does anyone have some thoughts or know of any literature
that discuss the difference between SD/continuous versus discrete
simulation as modeling tools? When would each be appropriate?
Thanks!

SD vs Discrete Simulation
There exists a whole raft of relevant literature Im sure,
but one short piece Ive found useful can be found at
www.imaginethatinc.com. Click on "about simulation" and
then download the "simulation concepts paper". Its in
PDF format, so youll need an Adobe Acrobat reader.
