STATUS Protocols and List Status

Hi Everyone,

Traffic has been increasing and the membership on the list is now up to
746 people. I thought a couple of reminders about protocol would be
useful.

First keep messages short. Posted messages travel lots of places and fill
up lots of peoples in-boxes. Second, always sign your name and email
address at the bottom of the message. Third, do not quote more than a
couple of lines from a previous message and never include the original
message in your reply. Finally for those of us who sell things, keep
things very brief (less than 30 lines), and provide a pointer to go to for
more information. Vendors are a respected source of terse factual information.

If you have any complaints about content that has been posted that you do
not think should be posted send a message to me directly at
system-dynamics-approval@world.std.com (this will not go to the list).
