Faculty Positions

The Department of Industrial Engineering at Bog(aziçi University invites
applications for full time positions, particularly at the assistant
professor level. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Industrial
Engineering/Operations Research or a related discipline, and must
demonstrate high potential for excellence in research and teaching.
Candidates with interests in system dynamics/systems theory, human
factors, and computer aided manufacturing are particularly encouraged
to apply, but applications for all areas of Operations
Research/Industrial Engineering will receive consideration.

The candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels, to supervise graduate theses and senior projects, to
participate in service activities, and to develop an active program of
research.

Bog(aziçi University is committed to excellence in teaching and
research. The language of instruction at Bog(aziçi is English, and has
been so since the university was first founded as Robert College in
1863. Department of Industrial Engineering is among the top ranked
departments in the nation.

Both tenure-track and visiting positions are available. Tenure-track
positions require Turkish citizenship or permanent residency. The search
will continue until suitable candidates have been identified. Starting
dates are negotiable.
